BIOGRAPHY
Mrs. Basirat Abiola Adenowo is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science [Education]. She holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Lagos [UNILAG], a PGDE from the Lagos State University [LASU], and an M.Sc. in Computing from De Montfort University [DMU], United Kingdom. She has over 32 years of teaching experience. She started her teaching career in our Legacy College (formerly LACOED, and later AOCOED), and till date in LASUED. Mrs. Adenowo had co-authored four Computer textbooks and one Chapter in Book. She had authored and co-authored seventeen (17) journal articles. She had also attended several academic conferences, seminars and workshops, and presented papers in a number of them. Mrs. Adenowo belongs to a number of Professional bodies including; Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), and Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN). She is presently the Chairman Students Disciplinary Committee of the Department and a member of Student Welfare Committee of the College (COITED). Mrs. Adenowo has a very great passion for teaching. She teaches to cater for learners’ individual differences, making sure every learner achieves the set goals at his or her pace.
