AYODELE Precious Samuel is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Music Education at the College of Humanities Education. His major area is Music Performance and Ethnomusicology. He holds a Master’s Degree of Arts (Ethnomusicology), a Bachelor of Arts (B.A Music) and a Nigeria Certificate in Education (N.C.E.) in Music Double Major, Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, (AOCOED). Ayodele P.S. attended Lagos State University, Ojo (LASU), where he obtained his Bachelor’s, Master’s degrees and is currently pursuing his PhD in Music Performance and Ethnomusicology.

He began his academic career as an Assistant Lecturer at the College of Humanities Education on February 23rd, 2023, and his appointment was regularized on September 6th, 2023. He became a fellow at the Ife Institute of Advanced Studies in August 2023.

Ayodele is a member of several professional and learned societies, including the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) CAT-B, Society of Music Educator of Nigeria (SOMEN), Association of Nigerian Musicologists (ANIM), and Early Childhood Association of Nigeria (ECAN). He has held several administrative positions within the institution, including Secretary of the Music Department, Staff Adviser to 100L and 200L Music students, Coordinator of the Dance Band, Performance Workshop, and African Instrumental Ensemble. Ayodele was appointed to serve as a technical member of the committee on KAMPUS STARS REALITY TVSHOW-AUDITION and was a member of the Local Organizing Committee for the 17th Annual National Conference for Society of Music Educators of Nigeria hosted by Music Department, from 16th -20th May 2022. He is also a member of several committees, including the Students Disciplinary Committee, Standardization Committee, College End of the year event planning committee, Show your Talent Day, LASUED-DESD, Environmental Beautification and Facility Management Committee, Performance and Exhibition Committee, and Staff Welfare/Social Committee. He has provided several services within the institution, including Assistant Lecturer, Technical Director of the Music Department, coordinator of the Female Band (LASUED Star Girls Band), and coordinator of the Campus Music Talent Hunt Show (IDAN LASUED).

Ayodele is a dedicated academician with some years of teaching experience and research works.
