BIOGRAPHY

Olumide Akinuli is a Lecturer 1 in the Department of Theatre and Performing Arts. He hails from Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo State. Born in Lagos State to the family of Mr. & Mrs. Akinuli F.O. He attended Saint Paul’s Anglican Primary School Idanre and later proceeded to Olofin Anglican Grammar School also in Idanre for his secondary school education. In his quest for more knowledge, he proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife Osun State in 1990 to study Dramatic Arts (B.A Degree). He also went to the University of Lagos (Unilag) for his M.A. programme and finished in 2009) presently he is studying for his Ph.D. programme at Lagos State University (LASU) Lagos State. He is a former head of the department of Cultural and Creative Arts, Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED) which metamorphosed into Lagos State University of Education. He is soft-spoken and a lover of sports. Olumide Akinuli is a devoted Christian and is married to Mrs. Akinuli Joke. The union is blessed with children.
