BIOGRAPHY

Alaka Ambali Abayomi holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education, as well as a Ph.D. in Educational Management from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He began his career at B-S Computer Services as a manager before joining the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, where he served the institute meritoriously for fifteen years in various capacities, including Students’ Affairs Officer, Training Manager, Personal Assistant to the Registrar/Chief Executive, and Senior Manager (Research). He initiated and contributed to the Institute’s Academic Conference, which has gained recognition among academia, as well as the Catch Them Young Programme, aimed at recruiting young secondary school leavers to write the Institute’s examinations.
Dr. Alaka was seconded to Islamic University in Uganda in 2018 as a Lecturer under the Technical Aid Corp programme of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He demonstrated his prowess and technical skills at the University by organizing the first befitting International Conference, which was well attended by academics from all over the world. He is a skilled educational expert with wide-ranging experience in areas such as training and development, quality assurance in education, leadership, educational systems administration, data analysis and human resources, gained across the globe.
In addition to teaching, supervising, and conducting research, Dr. Alaka is an Educational Consultant to many schools and organizations in Nigeria and abroad. He serves as a reviewer for several academic journals and has served as an external examiner for many institutions nationally and internationally. He has published in many learned journals both locally and abroad. Currently, he is a staff member at Lagos State University of Education, Oto-Ijanikin, (Epe Campus) in the Department of Educational Management.
