Candidates must possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE), or the General Certificate of Education (G.C.E), by WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or other equivalent bodies, with at least five credit passes, including Mathematics, English Language, Biology/Agricultural Science, are compulsory and any two (2) of the following; Economics; Geography; Bookkeeping/Financial Accounting; Food Nutrition/ Home Economics, Government, Chemistry, in not more than two sittings.

OR

Such credit passes must include English language, Mathematics and any other two from Sciences, Social Sciences or Arts and any other subject. Subjects can be drawn from Geography, Economics, Foods & Nutrition, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Health Sciences, Commerce Agricultural Sciences, Accounting, Home-Economics, Government, History, French, Woodwork, Fine Arts and Technical Drawing.
