HOD's Welcome Address
Welcome to the Department of Home Economics, a Department craftily designed and endowed with programmes that promote the teaching and learning of life skills in strategic fields of knowledge that will ensure the sustainability of individuals and family life, economic development, entrepreneurship/job creation and social responsibility. Specifically, each programme is designed to provide skills in:
v Subject-specific disciplines
v Analyzing contents, synthesizing and developing scientific concepts, use of modern technology and managerial capacity.
v Independent and critical thinking
v Teamwork and team spirit
v Addressing and appreciating ethical, security and environmental issues
