New Year Message: VC Appreciates Staff and Students, Calls for Continued Support in the Coming Year
The Vice-Chancellor, Lagos State University of Education, Professor Bidemi Bilkis Lafiaji-Okuneye, on behalf of the Governing Council and Management, heartily rejoices with the entire University Community on the auspicious occasion of the New Year.

Dear Distinguished Colleagues and Students,
As we usher in the New Year, I wish to sincerely express my heartfelt appreciation to every member of the LASUED Community for the dedication, resilience and commitment demonstrated throughout the past year. Your support and hard work have remained the bedrock of our remarkable achievements in 2025 and I am confident that together, we will attain even greater milestones as we continue our collective quest to position LASUED at enviable heights.
The beginning of a new year presents an opportunity for reflection, draws lessons from our experiences and strengthens resolve to pursue our individual and collective aspirations. As we embark on this new and exciting journey, let us remain focused, united and determined to make 2026 a year of sustained progress, growth, and excellence for our University.
I wish to further remind us that several impactful projects and initiatives still lie ahead. Achieving them will require our continued cooperation, unflinching support for the Management and collective prayers as we work hand in hand to ensure another successful year for LASUED as a professionally unique citadel of learning.
