ADVERTISMENT FOR ADMISSION INTO POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES OF LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION  

PREAMBLE

Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) is a Lagos State owned institution of higher learning, created on 2^nd February, 2022 upon transmutation of two (2) Legacy Colleges of Education, Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED), Oto/Ijanikin and Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED), Odo – Noforija, Epe into a University Education by Mr. Governor, the Governor of Lagos State and Visitor to the University,

Mr. Babajide Sanwo- Olu.

In fulfillment of the T.H.E.M.E.S ⁺ plus agenda of Mr. Governor, the University was created with a mission, “To produce outstanding globally acceptable education and related disciplines, professions, using innovative and creative approaches through relevant actions, research and the most sophisticated potentials to develop and transform the education industry in particular and the larger society in general”.

The newly established Postgraduate College of the University now invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the underlisted Postgraduate Diploma Programmes for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

PROGRAMMES

The Programmes are:

i.                 Postgraduate Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism;

ii.               Postgraduate Diploma in Data Science and Analytics;

iii.             Postgraduate Diploma in Networking and Cybersecurity;

iv.             Postgraduate Diploma in Virtual Communication and Media Technology; and

v.               Postgraduate Diploma in Health Information Management.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Admission into the Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programmes of the University is open to prospective candidates who must fulfill the following requirements:

i.                 Possession of at least five (5) credits passes at O’Level (SSCE, WAEC, GCE and NECO) including English Language and Mathematics.

ii.                A good Honours Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in relevant field.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

i.                 Your E - mail address on this platform would serve as your Username while your Surname would be used as your Password.

ii.                Applicants are required to make a non – refundable payment of Twenty – Five Thousand (N25, 000: 00) naira only into LASUED designated account

iii.               Proceed to complete the Postgraduate Application Form online by visiting the University Postgraduate Admission Portal on          https://admission.lasued.edu.ng/pgd_diploma.php

iv.             Complete the Application Form step – by – step and submit it online at the final stage

v.                After successful submission, applicants are required to print a copy of the e -registration slip for reference

IMPORTANT NOTES

i.                 Candidates who have not completed their National Youth Service (NYSC) are not eligible to apply;

ii.                academic transcripts for first degree programmes must be received by the University not later than two (2) weeks after the close of sale of forms

iii.               all shortlisted candidates will be required to participate in a compulsory interview.

COURSE DURATION

The Postgraduate Diploma Programmes will run for a minimum of one (1) academic session comprising of two (2) semesters.

CLOSING DATE

Sale of application forms will close six (6) weeks from the date of this publication
