INTERNAL ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE POSITIONS OF DEPUTY REGISTRAR AND
DEPUTY BURSAR
Applications are requested for suitably qualified candidates for the positions of Deputy
Registrar and Deputy Bursar.
A. Deputy Registrar (CONUNASS 14)
1. Job Description
a. Such person as will hold the position of Deputy Registrar will be on the
managerial level;
b. The person should be able to coordinate activities of Divisions in the Registry
at the highest level of administration;
c. The person should be able to provide effective leadership and mentorship for
subordinates;
d. The person must have ability to effectively understand rules, regulations,
policies and should be able to implement them appropriately; and
e. The person should be able to carry out any other administrative duties as may
be specified by the University regulatory documents.
2. Requirements
a. A good honours degree from a recognized University in relevant disciplines;
b. A master’s Degree in relevant disciplines;
c. Must have a minimal knowledge of ICT;
d. Membership of professional body such as CIPM, ANUPA, NIM etc;
e. The candidate must have attained the level of a Principal Assistant Registrar;
and
f. The candidate must have minimum of 15 years post qualification experience.
3. Mode of Application
Applicants for the position are requested to submit twenty (20) copies each of
their applications, curriculum vitae and credentials to the Ag. Registrar on or
before 6th February, 2023.
B. Deputy Bursar (CONUNASS 14)
1. Job Description
a. Such person as will hold the position of Deputy Bursar will be on the
managerial level;
b. He or she should be able to coordinate activities of Divisions in the Bursary at
the highest level of administration;
c. The person should be able to provide effective leadership and mentorship for
subordinates;
d. The person must have ability to effectively understand rules, regulations,
policies of finance and should be able to implement them appropriately; and
e. The person should be able to carry out any other duties as may be specified by
the University regulatory documents.
