As we prepare for the forthcoming International Conference, kindly note the following requirements for paper presentation and submission:
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR COSPED INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
1. SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS
- Abstract should Znot be more tgan 250 words
- Must include: Title, Background, Objective, Methods, Findings, Implications, Keywords (5-7 keywords)
- Font: Times New Roman, 12pt, single spacing
2. SUBMISSION OF FULL PAPERS
- Channel: Submit through official conference dedicated email: COSPED@LASUED.EDU.NG
- Final Deadline: 19th Sepyember, 2026
- Length: 5,000 - 7,000 words, including references, tables, and figures
- Formatting:
- Paper size: A4
- Font: Times New Roman, 12pt
- Spacing: 1.5 line spacing
- Margins: 1 inch on all sides
- Referencing: APA 7th Edition
- Structure: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Findings/Results, Discussion, Conclusion & Recommendations, References
- Plagiarism: Papers must be original and should not exceed 15-20% similarity index. All papers will be screened with Turnitin.
3. SUBMISSION OF HARD COPIES
- Each presenter should come with three (3) printed copies of the full paper for submission at the secretariat desk.
- This is compulsory for plenary discussants and archiving.
4. POWERPOINT PRESENTATION
- Presenters should prepare 10-15 slides summarizing the paper
- Time allocation: 10 minutes presentation + 5 minutes Q&A
- Slides should include: Title, Objectives, Methodology, Key Findings, Conclusion, Recommendations
- Submission: Slides should be submitted 24 hours before presentation time or sent to the College e mail.
- Format: MS PowerPoint (.pptx)
5. Certificate of Presentation: Only registered participants who present will be issued certificate.
5. Punblication
a) Peer Review: All papers will be subjected to double-blind peer review before acceptance for presentation.
b) Acceptance Notification: Authors will be notified of acceptance within [e.g., 1 week] of submission.
c) Accepted and presented papers will be published in the College International journal (IJOSPED).
