He began his professional librarianship in 1997 at Lagos State College of Primary Education Noforija, Epe (now Michael Otedola College of Primary Education Noforija, Epe) as Librarian 1 and rose through the ladder before becoming the College Librarian in the same institution in January 2020.

He is an erudite scholar and administrator per excellence. He is one of the few Nigerians whose tutorial refinery have brewed avalanche of promising young Nigerians who are doing well in different professions. In fact, he is an exemplary human moulder.

As a versatile scholar, he has proved himself an authority in modern library and information science matters with over fifty two articles and research publications both on-shore and off-shore on application of information and communication technology in library services, education and curriculum innovation, budgeting as well as project management and administration .He has also attended various conferences, seminars and workshops locally, nationally and internationally. He belongs to the following professional associations

  • Nigerian Library Association (NLA).
  • Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN).
  • Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN)
  • Nigeria School Library Association (NSLA) to mention a few.

He is also an award winner of the following Organisations

  • The Majesty Magazine- Nigerian Legend of Courage Award (2012)
  • African Update International Magazine- Distinguished International Africa Achiever Merit Gold Award (NMGA) 2013
  • Business Report International- Zik International Knowledge Leadership Award 2013
  • Civilian Institute of Democratic Administration (Nigeria) Fellow of the Civilian Institute of Democratic Administration (FCIDA) 2013

He is a management member of both Michael Otedola College of Primary Education and Lagos State University of Education as the College Librarian and University Librarian. He is happily married to Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olabisi Imam and blessed with three children.
